Advance Realty Adds to Metro East Tenant Roster
Construction Firm and Economic Consultants Sign Deals At Ideally Located Office Campus
Advance Realty, a leading Northeast U.S. owner and developer of Class A office, mixed-use and multi-family properties, announced today the completion of two lease transactions at 8100 Professional Place, a 55,473-square-foot office building located within the Metro East Business Campus in Landover, Md.
The three-story, brick building has a two-story, renovated lobby with Class A finishes including granite and millwork. Amenities on the Campus include a fitness center, on-site hotels and delis.
Clark Construction Group, LLC signed a lease for 12,528 square feet of office space, selecting the building because it was within walking distance of the New Carrollton Metro station. The firm is working with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) on Metro construction projects.
Andy Mayr, vice president at NAI Michael Companies, represented the tenant in the transaction.
In another deal, Snavely King Majoros & O’Connor, Inc., an economic consulting firm, signed a lease for 3,531 square feet. The firm, which is relocating from Washington, D.C., cited the building’s strategic location and high quality space as its reasons for choosing Metro East Business Campus.
Thomas Guirola, an associate with Coldwell Banker Commercial, represented the tenant.
In both transactions, Ken Fellows of Edge Commercial Real Estate represented Advance Realty.
“Tenants are attracted to this particular property due to its prime location with proximity to the train station and major road thoroughfares,” stated Advance Realty Senior Vice President David Fisher, who oversees the company’s Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area portfolio. “This accessibility, coupled with the quality of the space, makes Metro East a great alternative to buildings in D.C.”
Within Metro East Business Campus, Advance owns nine buildings totaling approximately 600,000 square feet. Located in Prince George’s County, Metro East Business Campus is within walking distance to the New Carrollton Train Station, which is serviced by Metro, Amtrak and MARC. It is close to Route 50, the Capital Beltway (I-495) and the IRS Regional Headquarters.
