Advance Realty Continues on Strategic Growth Path with New Hire and Promotion
Firm Taps Barry Quiner to Oversee Asset Management; Promotes Rick Zack to Managing Director
As part of an ongoing effort to strategically expand its focus in response to current market demands, Advance Realty today announced two significant personnel moves. The leading Northeast U.S. owner and developer of Class A office, retail, multifamily and mixed-use properties, has hired Barry Quiner as director of asset management and has promoted Rick Zack to managing director of property management.

Quiner is responsible for the development and implementation of property-specific value enhancement strategies for projects in the Advance Realty portfolio and acquisition pipeline. In addition, he is responsible for the company’s leasing initiatives with existing tenants and exclusive brokers.
Quiner has been creating value in large and diverse real estate portfolios for more than two decades through hands-on asset management, deal structuring, negotiations and building senior relationships. Prior to joining Advance, he spent seven years as the owner of real estate investment consulting practice Path of Growth, where he advised investment firms on asset management best practices and guided developers of diverse real estate projects in the U.S. and Mexico.
Previously, Quiner was a vice president with Prudential Real Estate Investors. He was the longest-serving member of the portfolio management team and was the senior asset manager for a bicoastal real estate portfolio of existing and development assets, including the fund’s entire retail portfolio.
Previously a director with Advance, Zack oversees the property management of the company’s portfolio of assets in the New Jersey and Washington, D.C. regions. Prior to being promoted to director in 2011, Zack served as general manager for One Gateway Center, the company’s 515,000-square-foot Class A commercial office building in Newark, N.J., where he was responsible for general operations, budgeting and financial reporting, as well as the execution of extensive capital and tenant improvement programs.
A proven professional in all areas of property management, Zack retuned to Advance Realty after a period of time at Precision Building and Construction, where he successfully managed the day-to-day company operations as chief operating officer.
Before joining Precision Building and Construction, Zack was a property manager for Advance, handling general operations for multiple assets within the company’s New Jersey Region including capital expenditures, building maintenance, life safety and security and tenant relations.
