Advance Realty Senior Vice President Kevin Tartaglione Appointed to NAIOP New Jersey Board of Trustees
Advance Realty, a leading Northeast owner and developer of Class A office, mixed-use and flex-space properties, today announced that Senior Vice President Kevin Tartaglione has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
Tartaglione joined Advance Realty in 2006 as a senior vice president and chief operating officer of the company’s Development division. With more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience in developing over five million square feet of Class A office properties, Tartaglione is responsible for final design through construction and completion of all projects in Advance’s growing development platform, valued at over $500 million.
“Kevin’s extensive experience in and knowledge of New Jersey’s commercial real estate industry has contributed greatly to maintaining our leadership position in the marketplace,” stated Kurt Padavano, COO of Advance Realty. “His appointment as a Trustee of the New Jersey chapter of NAIOP, a leading organization for commercial real estate professionals in the state, is a reflection of his dedication to excellence and contributions to the industry as a whole.”
Prior to joining Advance Realty, Tartaglione was vice president with Hines at its New York office, where he was responsible for new business development, project development and acquisitions, and asset management for its New Jersey client base and portfolio.
While at Hines, Tartaglione was a key member in the development team responsible for the 2.1 million-square-foot construction of Goldman Sachs’ headquarters facility in Jersey City, N.J. He had significant interaction with Jersey City and State authorities regarding the urban development issues surrounding this project.
Tartaglione led the design and construction activities for the development of the FDA Regional Office and Laboratory Facility in Jamaica, Queens — a 275,000-square-foot, build-to-suit regional office and laboratory headquarters constructed under the General Services Administration.
Tartaglione also has experience working at a major national construction management firm in New York City.
In addition to NAIOP, Tartaglione is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Urban Land Institute (ULI), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Institute of Architects Society (AIAS).
He received his Bachelors of Science in Architecture and his Masters of Science in Engineering and Minor in Finance from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
