Advance Realty’s One Gateway Center in Newark Receives NJ Smart Workplace Recognition for Third Consecutive Year
Company is Once Again Honored for Implementing Employee Commuting Programs to Reduce Traffic Congestion and Improve Air Quality
Advance Realty, a leading Northeast U.S. owner and developer of Class A office, mixed-use and flex-space properties, is being honored for a third consecutive year for its outstanding achievements in promoting alternative commuting programs that reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality at One Gateway Center, the company’s strategically located office tower in downtown Newark, N.J.
As a result of Advance Realty’s efforts to reduce dependence on cars and mitigate impact on surrounding traffic and the environment, the company will be honored as part of the 2010 NJ Smart Workplaces winners’ circle by the State of New Jersey’s Department of Transportation.
The annual NJ Smart Workplace award recognizes organizations that provide excellent commuter benefits to employees, such as providing compensation toward transit passes or to each employee who utilizes a carpool, or by offering telework or compressed work week programs to reduce commuting.
