Louis Ponte Joins Advance Realty Group as Construction Manager
Advance Realty Group, a leading Northeast U.S. owner and developer of Class A office properties, today announced that Louis S. Ponte has joined the company as a construction manager in its Development Division.
In his new role, Ponte will be responsible for coordinating construction activity, budgets, and schedules for Advance’s Harrison MetroCentre (www.harrisonmetrocentre.com), the largest brownfield renewal effort in New Jersey. When completed, the projected over $1 billion redevelopment will serve as a mixed-use, transit village that will encompass three million square feet of Class A office space, 300,000 square feet of retail space, approximately 3,500 housing units, and numerous other components.
Ponte, a resident of Easton, Pennsylvania, will assist in executing the remediation, construction, and design plans of Harrison MetroCentre, direct the architects, engineers, and construction crews on the site, and monitor the progress of the project.
“Louis is a great asset to our team due to his previous site construction experience,” said Kevin Tartaglione, senior vice president and COO of Advance Realty Development. “He brings over 20 years of expertise needed to achieve our development goals for Harrison MetroCentre.”
Prior to joining Advance Realty Group, Ponte was director of engineering for CB Richard Ellis’ New Jersey portfolio where he was responsible for providing technical and operational support including managing all facets of on-site development operations. Prior to CB Richard Ellis, Ponte was facilities manager for Hines, one of the largest, privately owned real estate firms in the world.
Ponte holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in facilities management from Iona College, where he graduated cum laude.
